The restaurant features an elevated counter service and a playful, backyard experience encouraging diners to eat outdoors on the bold colorful seating area under the expansive covered patio or in the “Backyard” lawn area. House of Better is an infusion of bright and fresh Southwestern inspired cuisine with a nourishing slant; an amalgam of Trevor Logan’s rustic, Southwest-inspired Green Chile Kitchen and his pop up, Booster Foods Nutrition Kitchen.
Elevated counter service and a playful, backyard experience are anchored by a wood-fired oven and New Mexican Chile roaster.
Offering a balance between modern California comfort food and healthful options, the House of Better menu incorporates fibrous, and Vitamin C enriched green Chiles in traditional New Mexican dishes, such as green Chile stew and nutritionally dense protein booster bowls.
Also on the menu are daily fresh-baked pies from Chile Pies Baking Co., including their famous Green Chile Apple Pie. The robust beverage menu focuses on wellness, offering fermented drinks and adaptogenic mushroom teas, plus a curated list of local wines and beers on tap.
Alternative wellness plays out in brunch items like eggs and greens, and traditional New Mexican dishes like smothered breakfast burritos with green and red chile.
